With fall leaves weighing heavy upon us we know winter is right around the corner. Every time you open your garage door the cooler air creeps in and soon the cold air of winter fills your garage. If you use your garage door throughout the winter, you realize it is a never-ending battle between cold air and energy efficiency. We, at Delden Garage Doors, have come up with a couple tips for checking the winterization of your garage door, the largest doorway in your home.

Delden is excited to announce the addition of a dealer locator to www.deldenmfg.com. Users are able to type in their zip code and receive a list of up to 15 authorized Delden dealers within 100 miles. The system supplies the user with the dealers’ complete contact information as well as icons indicating if each respective dealer has a showroom, 24-hour emergency service, and/or accepts credit cards. Philip Goff, Delden sales manager states, “It is our goal that this tool provides users with easy accessibility to a Delden dealer and provides our dealers with qualified leads.” Delden Manufacturing Company has been wholesaling garage doors, electric openers, parts, and accessories to Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, and Arkansas for over 50 years.

Joe Shipp, Controller at Delden Manufacturing Co., organized four teams (16 total people) in early December 2014 in response to a local radio station’s fundraiser. KFKF (94.1 FM) challenged listeners to raise $240 for St. Jude’s Partners in Hope. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. The four teams combined to raise $960. In addition, another KFKF listener matched the teams’ donation, bringing the total to $1,920. Delden Manufacturing is a garage door distributor and manufacturer based out of Kansas City, MO with six total Midwest offices in Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa.

Randy Pyle has organized Delden Manufacturing’s participation in the March of Dimes, Bikers for Babies fundraiser since 2009. March of Dimes’ mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. Over the past six years, Delden employees have donated generously to this cause thanks to Pyle’s efforts. This year’s ride was held on September 21, 2014 at Kansas Speedway. Pyle oversees the production of all custom wood garage doors manufactured out of Kansas City MO, Delden’s corporate office. Delden is a garage door and opener supplier that has been serving Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Southern Illinois and Northern Arkansas since 1964. Delden is currently celebrating their 50-year anniversary.

A group of Delden employees organized a company-wide ALS Ice Bucket Challenge held on August 22, 2014. A donation also took place where Delden matched all funds raised. President of Delden, Denise Dahms received nominations by multiple members of her staff and accepted the challenge that following Thursday. Dahms then challenged all Delden branch managers. Delden Manufacturing Co. Inc. - manufactures and distributes garage doors, openers, parts and accessories throughout Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Northern Arkansas and Southern Illinois. Delden is currently celebrating their 50-year anniversary.

The year 2014 marks 50 years since the inception of the Delden Manufacturing brand – Manufacturer and distributor of garage doors, electric openers, parts and accessories in America’s Midwest. While the company itself was founded in 1956 by Gene Renner, the Delden brand was established In 1964 in Kansas City, MO. Delden is named for Dee Layne, Dennis and Denise, his three children.
